Our commitment

At MyPetDragons.uk, we are committed to making our website accessible to as many people as possible, regardless of ability, technology, or circumstance. We believe that everyone should be able to shop, browse, and enjoy our content without barriers, and we strive to meet recognised accessibility standards in line with the Equality Act 2010 and the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1.

 

What we are doing

Our website has been built on the Wix platform, which provides a strong foundation for accessibility. We have taken steps to ensure that text can be resized, images include descriptive alternative text wherever possible, and colours are chosen to provide sufficient contrast. Navigation is designed to be clear and consistent, with logical headings and labels to help screen reader users and those navigating by keyboard.

 

We regularly review our content to ensure that new products, images, and information are added in ways that continue to support accessibility. We also consider accessibility whenever we introduce new features or update our design.

Where we are improving

While we aim to meet or exceed WCAG 2.1 Level AA standards, we recognise that some parts of the website may not yet be fully accessible. Certain decorative graphics may not always include full alternative text descriptions, and embedded third-party content such as social media feeds or external payment providers may not fully meet the same standards. We are actively working to address these issues and welcome feedback to help us prioritise improvements.
